Today we warmed up outside by the campfire and enjoyed delicious waffles and mulled wine. We were greeted very friendly and our puppy didn't bother anyone. Thank you!

On Sunday I was on the Wasserkuppe with my girlfriend. Then we ate the brisket with everything. The french fries weren't done, the meat wasn't seasoned or crispy. It was more like braised meat. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this restaurant. It's a shame because I'm expecting something better there. That was the rating I gave on Google on Sunday. The boss responded with great regret. I had a very nice phone call with him today. My girlfriend and I should have talked to us on the spot on Sunday. Unfortunately we didn't 😢 The boss invited both of us to contact him on our next visit to the Wasserkuppe. We will certainly do that. By the way, I've been to this restaurant from time to time and it was always very tasty🤗

It's been a while since I was allowed to be a guest there. Arrived late in the evening spontaneously and soaked with motorcycle and asked for a hostel. Everything dragged on a little, since something obviously still had to be clarified, but then everything worked out I got a super large room with apparently brand new furnishings at a great price because it was very late. Plus a great breakfast the next morning. I was amazed and it was a great stay in a historically significant place for gliding. thanks for that

Very nice hotel, top service, on Hesse's highest mountain (the local mountain of the Rhön: Wasserkuppe) very recommendable. And the new holiday village on the Wasserkuppe, also highly recommended. The Wasserkuppe (950m), in every season.

The location is great and the ladies and gentlemen in the restaurant and at the breakfast buffet are very friendly. The breakfast was very good and great attention was paid to the hygiene. At the reception they weren't very open-minded, when we checked out, we weren't even asked how we liked it or wished for a safe journey home. Our room was very simply furnished. There wasn't even a cloakroom to hang one's jackets on. When asked at the front desk, they asked if we had no hangers in the closet ... hm, wet jackets in the closet. The worst thing was, the narrow windows were about 2 meters high and our view was of a permanently rotating wind turbine. No look into the beautiful nature, we have never experienced anything like that. The room price was too expensive for that and there should have been a clear indication that the room has no windows at normal height and that you can't see anything of the surroundings. We were disappointed about that.

The food was okay, but not particularly good. Not at the price. Service was partly overloaded. I don't have to have it again.

Disinterested staff and ready meals. Empty glasses seem to be no guarantee of attracting the attention of the waitress. We are very sorry to have bothered the staff. We are also sorry for having spent patience and money on poor / no service and bag meals.

The food in the restaurant was very tasty & in the morning the breakfast was very well presented and delicious. Outside you also have a nice walk to walk, even with a pushchair. All shops can be found on site and there is also a great playground. The hotel itself has super nice staff. Unfortunately the room (family room Fulda) which is directly above the kitchen was not so great. It's always very loud and you can really hear everything. Regardless of whether schnitzel is knocked out or the windows are opened / closed. In any case, we would not take this with 2 small children. The stay was nice for us in spite of the constant rain because you could visit thermal baths, indoor playgrounds etc. where they weren't far away.

Very tasty drinks and food. Have a smaller selection, but there is something for everyone. Friendly staff, can only be recommended.

Super delicious food. Had both dinner and lunch. The burger and yeast dumplings are highly recommended. The staff is very friendly, unfortunately not present enough. But to cope with the nice atmosphere. The most important thing for us was that we could take our dog with us :) We'd love to come back again!

We had some food at the restaurant. The service was great and friendly. The prices are reasonable. It’s great that you don‘t have to pay with cash.

The food did justice to the high price, the service was nice and courteous. The only point of criticism is the small selection of food and drinks. (The menu also includes vegetarian and Hellal food) but little.

Obviously you don't need guests here. Never again. After a nice day we wanted to eat something good. The tables on the terrace not cleared, addresses from the predecessor (data protection?) When asked if there was a place on the terrace, we were sent inside, unfriendly, with the note that the waitress outside still needs a while to close the table clean. Funny, three minutes later people were sitting there. Inside, at 5 p.m., as announced by the waiter, tables reserved, but not until 7 p.m. You obviously need lead time. 🤔The only free table, dirty and full of mosquitos. We sat down anyway. We waited. No condition. When it took us too long we left again. That’s it.

The food was very good, the prices reasonable, but the service extremely inattentive. We sat for ages until the card came, then we almost wanted to leave before our order was taken, and finally we had to look for a servant to pay. Fortunately, the search was short because you could hear the waitresses in the kitchen talking about their private lives.

Unfortunately I got a room next to the extractor hood. It smelled a lot of frying fat. It was also very noisy. And without air conditioning in the heat. Price-performance was not in proportion. Addendum: a personal call from the managing director led to a great solution to our problem. It's really great how they strive to ensure the satisfaction of every single customer! Thank you so much!

Super personable team. We were allowed to plug our empty e-bikes into the socket for a moment while we were eating. Very helpful! Food and service was great too. We would love to come back.

Very nice hotel, very nice and courteous staff. Reasonably priced, the location was good! The breakfast (including hygiene concepts) very good! The only thing that bothered is that you can not completely darken the room!

We have been going to this hotel for 2 years now and are always thrilled. It is very familiar and the staff is more than friendly. We feel like we come home every year. We are really looking forward to next year. ☺️❤️

We were hotel guests. The location is really great. Breakfast and dinner were good. Unfortunately we were disappointed with the rooms € 120 per night. No fridge, mini hair dryer, and since all hotel parking spaces were occupied, we parked for a fee across the street. In my opinion, the price performance was not right.

Ate great here yesterday, June 26, 2020. The prices are a bit high, but a pleasure for the palate. The offer with the chanterelle schnitzel was really good! Many thanks also for the friendly service, which was always available.

Lovely hotel and good friendly staff helping to make it an enjoyable stay. Was surprised by the modern interior of the rooms given the exterior is not in the same style. A good surprise. Looks like it was a near full house with the bookings yet there was not so much noise to disturb you or feel like it was too many people, a nice balance. The Fulda room we stayed in was a bit hot even with the window open but adjusting to the thin sheets made it ok. Breakfast was great with a variety of local fresh produce available. Freshly squeezed orange juice and the variety of jams are sure to please. Was great to have a few beers outside on the terrace and watch the planes come in.

Enjoyed the schnitzel and the friendly atmosphere from the owners and staff when I was in the USAF stationed at the radar site nearby.
